Oppo has unveiled the 125W flash charge technology along with other new range of wired and wireless chargers.
Oppo has been leading in the development of fast charging market for some time now. On 15 July 2020, Oppo launched a variety of high power wireless and wired chargers which aims to take fast charging to the next level. The timely announcement of these flash chargers will consolidate the position of Oppo as the leading flash charge developer.
The official release from Oppo had four different types of chargers Oppo 125W flash charge, Oppo 65W AirVOOC wireless charge, Oppo 50W mini SuperVOOC charger and Oppo 110W mini flash charger.
On 15 July 2020, Oppo shared the first look of 125W flash charge in action on twitter. The Oppo 125W flash charge technology uses direct charging technology which is able to charge a 4000mAh battery up to 41% in 5 minutes and it can fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in 20 minutes at the fastest rate.
The 125W flash charge is equipped with double-6C cells with breakthrough battery ratio, industry-leading multiple tab structures, charge pumps and a highly integrated MCU to improve charging efficiency. It has three parallel charging pumps which can provide a conversion efficiency of up to 98%.
Oppo has focussed not only on the development of fast charging but also the safety of its users. Oppo has added 10 additional temperature sensors which will monitor the charging status and ensure maximum safety during charging.
To provide its customers with a hassle-free charging technology and to charge their devices quickly, as a leading developer of wireless charging technology Oppo has unveiled a 65W AirVOOC wireless charger.
It is said that the 65W AirVOOC wireless charger can fully charge a 4000mAh battery efficiently in 30 minutes. In order to counter the heating issue, the bottom of the charger is equipped with a semiconductor cooler to regulate the heat entering and exiting.
The bottom of the wireless charger comes with a cooling fan which reduces the heat by 2-degree Celcius.
Oppo says that the 50W mini SuperVOOC Charger was developed through a multi radian curve processing. The main focus is to develop a charger with a size similar to a business card holder and by seeing the images they have unveiled, it is right to say that they have succeeded in the process.
The thickness of this particular 50W mini SuperVOOC Charger is said to be just 1.05cm. The 50W Mini SuperVOOC Charger is so compact that you can take it just about anywhere in your pocket.
It is compatible with VOOC protocols and also works with 27W and 50W PPS. It can be used to charge mobile phone and laptops on the go.
The 110W Mini Flash Charger uses innovative dual-level architecture to achieve high-efficiency power conversion and temperature rise control. Its unique design combines laminated structures keeping it compact.
Additionally, this OPPO 110W Mini Flash Charger size is just 35.76 cm³ – similar to the size of an average 18W charger.
