How to Rotate a PDF in Google Drive?. There are no functionalities that allow us to rotate a PDF in Google Drive directly. But we can Rotate a PDF using the Google Chrome browser. Follow the simple step-by-step guide given below in the article.
How to Rotate a PDF in Google Drive
As I mentioned above, currently there are no features that allow us to rotate a PDF directly in Google Drive. But we will see how to rotate a PDF temporarily for reading purposes using Chrome browser.
Step 1: Open the Google Chrome browser and go to your Google Drive account.
Step 2: Now, open a PDF file that you want to rotate.
Step 3: Click on the Print icon in the top right corner to open the PDF in a new window.
Step 4: Once the PDF is opened in a new window, you can find a Rotate counterclockwise icon at the top of your screen.
Step 5: Click on the Rotate icon to rotate the PDF file as per your wish.
Note: The main issue with the above method is we can’t rotate a PDF permanently. You can rotate a PDF temporarily only for reading purposes.
How to rotate a PDF in Google Drive on Phone
To rotate a PDF on the phone from Google drive, we need to download an App from Google Playstore. Follow the steps given below.
Step 1: Download & Install iLovePDF: PDF Editor & Scanner from Google Play Store.
Step 2: Now, open the Google Drive app on your phone and find the PDF you want to rotate.
Step 3: Tap on the three vertical dots on the PDF file.
Step 4: Select Open with.
Step 5: On the next step, choose Execute tool from I Love PDF app.
Note: Once you select Execute tool, you will be redirected to the iLovePDF app.
Step 6: Now, scroll down and select Rotate PDF option.
Step 7: Tap the rotate icon next to the PDF till you achieve your preferred orientation, and click Rotate PDF button at the bottom of your screen.
Step 8: Once your receive the Process finished notification, tap on Go to file button to access the rotated PDF file inside the app.
Step 9: Finally, tap on the three vertical dots icon next to the rotated PDF file.
Step 10: Select Share and choose Google Drive to upload directly.
Note: You can only convert six files for free per day in the iLovePDF app.
